Should you DIY (Do It Yourself) or GSI (Get Someone In)?

Much of it depends on you level of skill and your patience when things don't go quite as you expected.

DIY can be an enjoyable experience if you follow the instructions carefully and are aware of your limitations but there are certain jobs that it's just not worth attempting yourself, in which case it would be better to Get Someone In.
